allmydreams's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- only in the movies my new layout looks pretty slick, eh? god i can't believe i've been up this long. not only did i get stoned at chey ho and then polish off a bottle of red wine with jose last night, but this is the second day in a row i've gotten up before 8. ew. yesterday after my sociology class i met up with jose and got coffee and laid around on norlin quad for awhile. what a fucking beautiful day. just lying there next to him and making out and being retarded. looking up at the trees and clouds. wonderful. after that we went to a bunch of the conference on world affairs stuff. first we went to a poetry reading (i met patch too!), then we went to a panel called "demonizing young girls." the first half wasn't very exciting, but when they started talking about the media it got really interesting. ironically, there was a group of middle school aged girls sitting next to me and drawing scantily clad girls holding hands with buff guys wearing shirts that said stuff like "gold's gym." all this while the panel was discussing how the media contributes to gender stereotyping. heh. jose had to leave during the discussion because of choir, so i wandered around for awhile and ate subway before meeting up with him for another panel. so i fucking ran into jason again. second freaking day in a row. god. heh. i think i do have a crush on him. too bad i always make a fool out of myself when i see him. anyway. so yeah. met up with jose again and went to a panel about reviewing stuff...cool shit. lalala ok i have class but yeah. got stoned, got drunk, made out yeahhh. this morning went to hear roger ebert and others talk about what film teaches us about relationships...the best panel i've seen so far. gotta go...more lata. 11:36 am - 2002-04-10 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
