allmydreams's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- technicolor girls are always on the phone this vacation has been somewhat similar to winter break. i just didn't feel like making the effort to get in touch with people, to "hang out"...whatever...it usually makes me wish i was somewhere else anyway. i guess my last visit was sort of a prelude to this state, but this time i was really feeling it. last night, after eating at the orchid with my family (sans my brother, who actually has a life), i rented happenstance, a movie starring audrey tatou. i wasn't a huge fan of amelie (perhaps because no one would stop talking about it), but i loved her in this film. i like french movies because they tend to linger on scenes that american movies often skip...and sometimes they're sort of boring because of it, but i prefer them for it. anyway. today i was subjected to the annual ray bell picnic (otherwise known as hell/where obese people go to rot/etc)....hah yeah um that's all i'm going to say about that one. i miss evan....too bad i won't see him for eight days or so. luckily tomorrow morning i go back to colorado for a day....praise jebus. but maine should be fun...i'll stop complaining. 3:18 pm - 2003-08-16 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
